    Default Imparting Skills To People

I believe that a mind that is willing to be taught skills can turn out to be very helpful in society. Skills liberate people from bondage of extreme poverty.

I believe in that imparting skills and knowledge to others is a great and noble act. You teach people what you know and you indirectly save lives, and help make better the lives of others. It's just sad that there really are people who are selfish and who do not want to share what they know to others. They call it trade secret and they fear that imparting what they know would only create a bigger room for competition.

When someone takes his/her time to share with others what he/she has knowledge on or has learnt, he/she gets to even understand the concepts better. It's good to share.

Sharing knowledge with other people is a great legacy. Like they say, you give a poor man fish to eat and he doesn't go hungry for a while; but teach the poor man how to fish and he doesn't go hungry for all his days. Teach others what you know and they will be grateful forever.

People should not be afraid to share their knowledge and expertise to others. Even if it means that you will have competition. Even if it means that sharing your trade secrets would make another man competent to do your job.

I remember a certain quote saying that a great teacher is one whose students are better than him. And it really does make sense.

I am familiar with this quote, too. It is very right. When the people you teach are better at that thing compared to you, then that only means that you did an excellent job at teaching them. If I were a teacher and my students turn out more successsful and far exceeds my own skill, then I can die knowing that I was great at something.

This statement is literally strong. Why should people in the same professional/trade be selfish in sharing ideas? Such people are the ones who think of only today, they don't know what life may turn out to be like tomorrow. One should not be selfish and self-centered, just impart people with skills and later on you'll realize how the society benefits.

The problem is that we really do not get to understand who the society is so that we can join in this. I once read in the bible that the righteous shall be delivered through knowledge, and skills are a result of knowledge that is the reason why we cannot afford to be selfish for we want greater things for our tomorrow.

I believe a teacher is someone with expert skills and knowledge that has the ability to share this expertise with others. A good teacher is one who teaches students and learns on how to improve both the individual and the company.

I absolutely agree with you all. They say that education is the key to success. We therefore need to join hands in imparting skills to each other for us to succeed in conquering our greatest enemy-poverty. Let us always be will to share the skills we have with those who lack as in, by so doing, we get to know more about a certain problem and the best solution to it.
