Cowards Live Longer, Do You Believe This?

You have already read this somewhere or heard people say that cowards live longer. What makes you believe that cowards live longer? You should be a courageous person because being so you're able to face any challenge that comes your way in a determined way thus improving your life instead of being a coward who can't even defend himself from anything that is threatening. To conclude about cowards, "Cowards Never Take Risks in Life."

Courageous people succeed unlike cowards. For me, I don't and I will never believe that cowards do live longer.

I don’t believe that cowards live longer at all. What I know is that courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen. A coward is a hero with a wife, kids, and a mortgage. When we are afraid we ought not to occupy ourselves with endeavoring to prove that there is no danger, but in strengthening ourselves to go on in spite of the danger.

The courage of life is often a less dramatic spectacle than the courage of a final moment, but it is no less a magnificent mixture of triumph and tragedy. A man does what he must- in spite of personal consequences, in spite of obstacles and dangers and pressures-and that is the basis of all morality. And also it is better by noble boldness to run the risk of being subject to half of the evils we anticipate than to remain in cowardly listlessness for fear of what might happen. So I am confident that the courageous people live longer.

They don't live longer. Because they die daily death. Life is living each moment and brave does that.

Not in all things should people take risks. For instance, you can't boast of not being a coward and then go sleeping around unprotected. A coward values his life and speculates the possible consequences of what e does. Life is not business. In business you can take risks but in things to do with personal life, health and well being, then you must play a coward. I know of a saying in my community that says that cowards live longer but the bold and foolish perish fast.

What proves that cowards live long? I don’t believe it. And hey @lynkez, you don’t have to be a coward to live a long life. You can be bold and live a dignified life. I mean, not all bold people go sleeping around and unprotected. I think cowards live a shorter life because they kill themselves with stress wondering when they will ever gain the courage to do what they have always wanted to do.

According to my understanding of the word coward is a person who is fearful/ lacks the courage to take risk,is always intimidated.cowards never take chances hence they live stressing themselves less .just consider overconfidence in people that make them go overboard their abilities hence making immense mistakes at times.I believe cowards live longer since they stress themselves less and live within their miserable limits.
