    I don't think it is possible and if it is possible the concerned parties should solve it before it goes out of their control. It is an abomination.

    It may be a slip of the tongue since you were used to the name and especially when you really loved this person and was fond of calling him by name. It is hurting but just let him/her know you feel sorry and that it was not intentional. If that happens next time then I am sure that is a player and is not being particular. Why should you call me Jane yet you know I am Phyllis?
