There is increase in the number of people who opt for remaining single. May be it is their independence that they don't want to be intruded or there are any other reasons that cross your mind on this issue ?

Maybe it is because times are harder today and young people do not feel stable enough to commit to the responsibilities of marraige.

There are times being single is a choice; but there are also times when it is necessary. There are two reasons given why people choose to remain single: there is no one they would want to commit to and spend their life with; or other responsibilities keep them from being married. Whatever the reason, they have to live with the consequences of their actions. There may be some regret, especially later in life when they long for companionship, but others claim to enjoy their single-blessedness.

Probably they have experienced a divorce from someone they loved way too much and never thought would end up bitterly separating or maybe they have seen there elder brothers and sister go through a bad relationship.

I really think it's fear. It can be the fear of being in a relationship, or the fear of the uncertain - they don't know what will happen to their relationship so they choose to be single.

It is just all about fear and denial and living a life of running away from that which we all in secret desire to have

I also feel that it is tough to remain single for both men and woman.There are so many phases of life and companions are a big support most of the times. Later phase of the life is the time when one misses parnter the most.

Well as for me, I have not found the right man yet. Most potential suitors are not serious and most Kenyan men do not want to commit themselves.

I do not know what the big deal with staying single. Relatives pester you when you in your late 20's like me when I would get married and set you up on dates. I do not want to marry just because of that and may set you up for a disappointing marraige.

1. the guy knows that she is so good at everything, so he's afraid of getting beat at things by a girl, especially his bf.
2. The guys assume that the girl must already have a boyfriend because she is so awesome.
3. Guys are afraid of looking stupid when he stands next to someone so beautiful.
4. Guys are afraid that other guys might beat him up in jealousy.
5. The girl is so drop dead gorgeous that whenever the guys see her, they faint and don't get a chance to ask her out.
