Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki has threatened to abandon the American-backed power sharing government which was created just a year ago hence leaving the country’s delicate democracy into further stress just a few days following the departure of American forces.

He threatened to release investigatory files which are a prove to the claims that his opponents have been involved in terrorism.

He asked the Kurdish leaders to turn against Vice president Tariq al-Hashimi or else there could be problems. It is said that the Vice President fled to a semi-autonomous Kurdish region few days ago escaping an arrest warrant for he ran a death squad which was responsible for assassinations and bombings.
